Terms of Service

Last updated 9 October 2026. The agreement between you and ChatConvert: what the service is, what the plans cost, and what each side is responsible for.

Agreement

These terms are an agreement between you (personally, or on behalf of the business you represent) and ChatConvert, a sole proprietorship of Tabassum Fatima Masoom Husain Sayed, which runs chatconvert.in. Signing in, using the Free plan, paying for a plan or otherwise using ChatConvert means you accept them.

ChatConvert is a sole proprietorship, so the contracting party is the proprietor personally rather than an incorporated company. "We", "us", and "ChatConvert" throughout this document all refer to that same party.

A Bespoke engagement also has a written proposal. Where that proposal covers something explicitly, it governs, and these terms fill in everything it does not.

What ChatConvert is

ChatConvert builds and runs automation for businesses that sell through messages. On Max and Bespoke, our developers build and run a system for your business; on Free and Pro, you set up templated automation yourself. You connect your Instagram Business or Creator account through Meta's official login, add your website, and the automations run on it. Depending on your plan, that includes:

• Replies to comments and DMs, including a private message to someone who commented and a public reply under the comment
• Product cards built from the products and prices on your website
• Answers to common questions, taken from your website's FAQ and policy pages and the facts you add
• Niche templates, and a builder for your own automations
• Follow-ups sent inside Instagram's 24-hour messaging window
• An inbox where your team can take over any chat, and analytics
• Optional AI replies, with your own API key or with Managed AI
• On Max and Bespoke: WhatsApp automation through the official WhatsApp Business API, voice call agents, custom logic, AI agents that answer from your knowledge base, and a dashboard built for you

What each plan includes is listed on the Pricing page. Max and Bespoke are build work done for your business; Bespoke is also scoped in a written proposal.

Early access

ChatConvert is in early access. Signing in reserves your workspace straight away. We are opening Instagram connections to workspaces in order, and we email you the day yours opens. Until then, the features that need Instagram are not available to you.

Your account

You must be at least 18 and able to enter a contract. If you sign up for a business, you confirm you are authorised to bind it.

You sign in with your email and a password, or with Google where that is offered. You are responsible for keeping your password and your email account secure, and for everything done by the people you give access to your workspace.

You connect Instagram through Meta's permission flow, which shows exactly what you are allowing. We never see or store your Instagram password. You can disconnect from the dashboard, or remove ChatConvert in your Instagram settings, at any time.

Plans and prices

Prices are set in US dollars and exclude GST and any other taxes, which are added where the law requires them. The site shows them converted to your currency for convenience; the amount we confirm with you before you pay is the one that counts.

The Free plan

The Free plan costs nothing and has no end date. It has the limits shown on the Pricing page: one Instagram account, one DM auto-reply and one comment auto-reply, and up to 100 automated messages in any 24 hours. When that number is reached, automated replies pause until the count drops, and your inbox keeps working.

It never turns into a paid plan on its own: a paid plan starts only when you choose one and pay for it.

We may change what the Free plan includes with at least 30 days' notice, and we may close a Free workspace that is used to send spam or otherwise breaks these terms.

Paying for a plan, and renewal

• Pro is paid in advance for the whole term of 3 months.
• Max has a one-time setup fee, paid before the build starts, and then a monthly fee for maintenance and updates, paid in advance each month from the day it goes live. Revisions are not counted or charged separately.
• There is no card checkout on the site. You arrange a plan with us on WhatsApp (+91 93726 14010), we confirm the amount in your currency and how to pay, and we switch your workspace to the plan once the payment has reached us.
• If you pay before Instagram connection is open for your workspace, your term starts on the day it opens, not on the day you paid.
• Before a term or month ends, we send you an invoice for the next one, and your plan continues when it is paid. If you do not want to continue, tell us or leave it unpaid, and your plan ends with the period you paid for.
• If a renewal is still unpaid after the term ends, your workspace goes back to the Free plan: the automations that fit Free keep running and the rest pause, and nothing you built is deleted. We tell you before that happens.
• We may change prices for future terms with at least 30 days' notice. A term you have already paid for is never repriced.

AI replies

On Max and Bespoke, AI is part of the build. It includes a one-time credit of $40 of AI usage, applied when your build goes live. Usage above the credit is billed monthly, as used. Voice calls also carry the calling provider's per-minute charges, and Meta's own WhatsApp charges apply where Meta makes them; both are billed as used and are not part of the monthly fee.

On Pro, AI replies are optional and stay off until you switch them on.

• With your own key, you paste an API key from OpenAI, Anthropic or Google into your dashboard, where it is stored encrypted. Your provider bills you directly for what you use, under its own terms and prices. We suggest setting a spending limit with your provider.
• Managed AI costs $40 a month, paid in advance, and includes 8,000 AI replies a calendar month. Unused replies do not carry over. If you reach the limit, AI replies pause until the next month starts, and your other automations keep running.
• AI replies answer only from your website and the facts you add, and say so instead of guessing when they are not sure. They can still get something wrong, so try them in test mode before your followers see them, and tell us when a reply is off.

What you are responsible for

ChatConvert replies on your Instagram account, in your brand's name, to your customers. That means some responsibilities sit with you and cannot sit with us.

• Complying with Meta's Terms of Use, Community Guidelines, and messaging policies on your account.
• Having a lawful basis to message the people your automations message, including any consent your jurisdiction requires for promotional messaging.
• Keeping your website, prices, offers and the facts you add accurate. Replies are built from them, so a wrong price on your site becomes a wrong price in a reply.
• Your own privacy policy and customer-facing disclosures, including telling your customers that automated replies are in use where that is required.
• Checking your automations in test mode before you go live, and switching off anything that does not reply the way you want.

Acceptable use

You may not use ChatConvert to send spam or unsolicited bulk messages, to impersonate another person or brand, to sell anything illegal in the jurisdictions you operate in, to harass anyone, to scrape or resell platform data, or to attempt to break, overload, or reverse engineer our systems.

No plan caps your contacts. That is about the size of your audience. It does not allow message volumes that break Meta's limits, or anything listed above.

We may suspend an account that is doing any of these, and will tell you why.

Dependence on Instagram and Meta

ChatConvert is built on top of Meta's Instagram APIs. We do not control those APIs, and Meta can change its policies, rate limits, permissions, or feature availability at any time, with or without notice.

If Meta changes something that limits or removes a feature, we will tell you, and we will adapt ChatConvert where it is technically possible to do so. We cannot guarantee that any specific Instagram capability will remain available, and a change on Meta's side is not a failure to deliver on our part.

Account safety is not guaranteed

We follow Meta's Platform Terms, Developer Policies and Instagram's messaging rules strictly, and ChatConvert is built to keep your account inside them. It connects only through Meta's official login, never asks for your Instagram password, and works within Instagram's messaging window and sending limits.

Even so, nothing can guarantee that an Instagram account will never be limited, restricted, shadowbanned, suspended or banned. Meta makes those decisions on its own, using signals we cannot see, and it can act on accounts that follow every rule. We do not guarantee the safety of your account, and we are not liable for any action Meta takes on it.

A restriction, suspension or ban by Meta is not a breach of these terms by us and is not grounds for a refund. If it happens, tell us and we will review what your automations sent and pause anything that could have played a part.

Intellectual property

The ChatConvert software, templates, dashboard, and this website remain ours. Your plan gives you a non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use them for your business while it is active, not ownership of them.

Your brand, website content, catalogue, customer data, and the automations you write remain yours. We claim no ownership over any of it and use it only to run ChatConvert for you. If we would like to show your brand as a case study, we will ask you first.

Confidentiality

Each side will keep the other's non-public business information confidential and use it only to provide or use ChatConvert. This survives the end of your plan. It does not cover information that is already public, that either side already had, or that either side is legally compelled to disclose.

No guarantee of results

ChatConvert replies faster and more consistently than a human inbox can. We do not promise a specific number of sales, leads, replies, conversion rate, or revenue figure, because those depend on your product, pricing, audience, and offer far more than they depend on response speed. Nothing on this website should be read as a guaranteed commercial outcome.

Warranties and liability

The service is provided on an as-is and as-available basis. To the maximum extent Indian law allows, we exclude implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

Neither side is liable to the other for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential loss, or for loss of profit, revenue, goodwill, or data, however it arises.

Our total aggregate liability arising out of or in connection with the service is limited to the total fees you actually paid us in the three months immediately before the event giving rise to the claim.

Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded, including liability for fraud or for death or personal injury caused by negligence.

Cancellation and termination

You can cancel a paid plan or Managed AI at any time. Your plan keeps running until the end of the term you paid for, and you are not charged again. Refunds are governed by the Refund & Cancellation Policy.

We may close an account if you materially breach these terms and do not fix it within 15 days of being told, if a renewal remains unpaid 30 days after the term ended, or if continuing would put us in breach of Meta's platform policies.

When an account closes, its automations stop and our access to your Instagram account ends. We delete or hand over your data as set out in the Privacy Policy.

Indemnity

You agree to indemnify us against third-party claims arising from your use of ChatConvert in breach of these terms, from content or catalogue information you supplied, or from messaging people without a lawful basis.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. The Last updated date at the top changes when we do. Material changes are emailed to account holders, and continuing to use ChatConvert after a change means you accept the updated terms.

Governing law and disputes

These terms are governed by the laws of India. The courts at Navi Mumbai, Maharashtra have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute arising from them.

Before either side starts proceedings, both agree to raise the issue in writing and attempt in good faith to resolve it within 30 days. Most disagreements are a misunderstanding, and a conversation settles them faster than anything else will.
